As I sit on this crisp morning waiting for a call to go to work I have decided to be better at updating. Its been a long time singe I last posted anything. I have a job as a lumber jack. I work like 10 hour days. I go to bed at like 9 and wake up at 7. I know that like a ton of hours of sleep, but I still feel tired. that about what my life consists of right now. On to the fun things like politics. if you don't know there is a pres election next year and right now the GOP are hunt for someone to pick. I think there are a lot of good candidates running. I feel sorry for some some I don't. Herman Cain is one i don't know about. I think Gloria Alred is on a hunt and wants to be in the spot light. I saw her on Shawn Hannity and she was just a mess. Yelling and not answering Hannity's questions. My opinion is that he is a good businessman but my heck how many women are going to come out and say he did something to them. I think we will never know what really happened. Now I am sick of the crap our fear filled leader has pulled recently. There is a scandal about him and his administration giving out our money to companies that are "green". the biggest is Solyndra. They have a loan for $535 million guaranteed. even with that much money they went bankrupt. they were selling a product for $2 that cost $4 to make. hmmmm I would say that is a bad model to make money. Pres Obama thought it would be good though. Now that it is public and a lot of people are really mad Congress made a good decision for once and are investigating. They subpoenaed the White House for all the documents about Solyndra. What do they do in retaliation say something to the effect of "We have already given you papers on this topic(18,000pg) and we don't want to give you all of them it would but to much stress on the President." I bet he would be stressed if I gave that much of someone else money I would be a little stressed. Now a police officer is called to a house because of a murder. When he gets there he looks at the body asks a few questions and thats it. He doesnt try to get all the evidence just a little. Would anybody be satisfied with that investigation? I would say H to the Ell NO. So why does the White house think they can give up some of the evidence of how stupid they are and not all.
Real fast before I leave for the day. From 1776 to 2008 the U.S.A. accumulated 10 trillion in debt. From 2008 to present we have added 5 trillion to that. That was when Obama took office. He has gone on record spending sprees. He wants us to all be socialists and depend on the Government. my rant is over. Hope it wasnt to depressing. thank a vet today. Our country is still something to be proud of and its because of thous who have giving us their service.
I am someone who loves fun and works hard. I love business and all that that in tells. I take a class and had to write a journal here is the URL for that http://whatjt-haslearned.blogspot.com

so much change
OK I must appoligize I have slipped on the updates and the posting. I have had a lot on the plate and am now just catching up on life. so lets see I am not moving to Utah cuz well me and the wife are living in Idaho Falls. I am getting married on the 24th of June. I am excited and cant wait. I am marrying Natalie Transtrum. I never thought a person could be this happy. I have always thought I was going to take a while to find the one. After the first date I knew she was the one. crazy I know but so true.
I have been slacking in the news department as well. I am in awe of the resilent people of Japan. They have been hit by one of the worst earthquakes and they are pulling out of it with such hope. I think if more people would grab on to hope and fight to reach it more people would be happy. It is my firm belief that if we do all that we can and trust in God we will come out on top. I dont mean we can do whatever we want and still recieve blessings. We have to obey and work hard.
one thing that has put a thorn in my side or caused me to wonder is the responce to the earthquake. the U.S. is in a budget crisis and cant seem to get along. When other countries have problems we work together and help. As for our own people we would rather fight and put thousands of people without a pay check. I am a little tired of hearing of Wisconsin and dems. and rep. fighting. I dont think the founding fathers had this in mind when they wanted freedom. I am praying for a resolve.
signing off.

what the world needs now is love sweet love.
For the past few days, the thing that has been on my mind the most has been peace. Most of the news has been covering the Egyptian protest. many countries had input about the events happening there. The protest was for freedom and the right to choose. I see nothing wrong in the undertaking to get a government to represent the people. The feelings they, the people, have is what should be on the minds of every government. In Iran the dictator was speaking out for freedom that people should have choice. That the people should have a say in the way they are governed. As I sat and watched the news this evening I saw coverage of Anderson Copper 360. The story is about the suppressive actions of a man who on Friday commended people choice now trying to force his people. The people in Iran are trying to protest. their government is killing people who want change.
I think also of the government we have at the helm now. I see men and women who will say just about anything to be elected. Once in the seat of power, all promises are broken. OK not all but a lot have not been kept. When an f-22 fighter jet is made a spare engine is made as well. All the leading general have told Congress they do not want this to be done. They do NOT want the extra engine being made. Yet their voice of wisdom goes unheeded. I think we have very smart people as lawmakers. The flaw I see is that there has been no punishment for the not-so-smart things they have done. They throw money around and real stupid things get done. The reason we are in this debt is simple. We spend more than we make. we have programs that do nothing. the places that get affected by this are the programs that we need. there is very little punishment in the world of the higher-ups. I just think if the ones who make mistakes pay for the wrong done far fewer mistakes would accrue. I am not saying jail but what about real work. Manuel labor. I Have Spoken

wonderland
I think the things that scary people the most is change. we all would like things to run smoothly with no bumps. In the short life I have had thus far I find that the moments that I learned the most about myself is when I was in a bump. I had to grow and really find what I was made of. I think of the people that let growth slip by as, in a form, weak. A stone that falls from atop a mountain rolls down and scraps and hits the side of the mountain many times. As it falls all the rough points and well ugly parts of the stone chip off. By the time the stone reaches the bottom it has become a smooth, polished, beautiful gem. If it wasnt for the hard times in life the world would be an ugly place. I'm enjoying the changes in my life. I think about what the future holds and wonder how am I going to move forward. I often think about my low moments and how I got through the most hardest times in my life. There is an inner spark in each of us I believe. That spark can either grow in a light of leadership, maturety, and strength. In the opposite it can become dim and show selfishness, guilt, and shame. The growth comes from removing the rough parts. Change is fun. I am ready for change. Lets hope its going to be an adventure
